This is getting crazy, i always get this...divine inspiration...at the worst times...as in, like, midnight...so i've had this render laying around for quite a while, and just before bed i say, "hell, might as well check DA"...bad idea....i suddenly get ideas, inspirations, or whatever you call it, and spend the next 4 hours on the computre...above, you have the result...I've always wanted to try that cool techy stuff i see on some renders...so i did...and here's what i came up with...the inverted version of it looks pretty sexy too, i may have to post that as well...thats about all i can say about it, hope you guys like it and if you dont, well, its 4 in the morning and I dont care!

I'm actually trying to learn cinema 4D, just because it seems to be a pretty powerful program...I think it'd work better with my geolight than 3D studio max does.

i think its actually much simpler (though i havent actually used any of those others...its just what i hear) but it is very easy to learn...ive only really been at it for a few months, but i havent really gotten into the realistic modeling capabilites it has (which i know are extensive...ive seen some stuff it can do, and its out f this world!)

what, btw, is geolight?

geolight is an advanced lighting program...I like it because I can use it to light peices done in photshop, PSP and even drawings, and it lets me select what the light does and doesn't hit. It's an old freebie I got off nonags, I think...it was definitly freeware. I use a plugin that lets me use it in conjunction with 3DSM...but it COMES ready to work with Cinema 4D. *shrugs* We'll see. =P
